CELT is organising a colloquium on 21 December for members of institutions contributing to the fight against terrorism to promote free and confidential exchanges on the financing of terrorism.
This colloquium will aim to shed light on the state of knowledge of the financial flows fuelling terrorism from criminal organisations, states or other forms of structures. Particular emphasis will be placed on the links between the financing of terrorism and organised crime, as well as on the possible assimilation of certain forms of terrorism to a specific manifestation of organised crime. This conference will also aim to identify possible ways of detecting low-cost terrorism. Finally, it will address existing and potential national and international cooperation measures to combat the financing of terrorism.
To this end, this conference will bring together in three round tables the best French and foreign specialists in the various aspects of knowledge and the fight against the financing of terrorism.
