As part of their studies at the Ecole Militaire, officer trainees at the Ecole de Guerre-Terre have conducted research projects on a number of topics of interest to the Army and Defense.

At the end of the year workshops (equipment, capabilities and maintenance in operational condition, innovation, national territory, combat tomorrow, etc.) as well as round tables (strengthening resilience, cooperating differently, command tomorrow, etc.) were organized on June 14, 15 and 16, 2020 at the Ecole Militaire to present their work and discuss the selected themes.

The Saint-Cyr Foundation is committed alongside the Ecole de Guerre Terre to support this event called “INCUBATerre”, given the free, innovative and exploratory nature of their reflections.

It awarded three prizes, the first two for the best dissertations by French trainees, the third for the best dissertation by a foreign trainee officer.

• 1st prize: Commandant Jean Martin (medical support in external operations from the perspective of technological innovations)
• 2nd prize: Major Xavier Barde (application of the American concept of multi-domain operations to the French Army)
• Special Award: Lieutenant-Colonel Abdoulaye Coulibaly (Malian army reconstruction strategy)

With the financial support of NEXTER, the Saint-Cyr Foundation participated in the organization of the symposium on artificial intelligence organized by the Research Center of the Military Academy of Saint-Cyr Coëtquidan on December 3, 2020 at the Ecole Militaire in Paris.

This event was organized on January 30, 2019by the Research Center of the Military Academy of Saint-Cyr Coëtquidan in the premises of the Banque Française Mutualiste.

This conference was organized on April 10 and 11 at the CNAM in partnership with the Cyberdefense Cyber Security Chair of the Saint-Cyr Coëtquidan Military Academy and the Hub France IA.

The Saint-Cyr Foundation participated in the Triumph by organizing the Officers’ Square, meeting place for military personnel, their families and friends.

The Wormser bank and the Saint-Cyr Foundation supported the organization of the show “La nuit aux Invalides” (Night at the Invalides) which highlighted the Great War and the courage of the Saint Cyrians of the Oath of 14.

On the occasion of its 130^th anniversary, the Saint-Cyrienne organized a symposium on the defense of France’s values by civil society and the military community on March 23 at the Sorbonne.

On this occasion, and at the initiative of the Foundation for the fourth consecutive year, the associations close to Saint-Cyr gathered in a unique place, the carré des officiers.
