In order to continue the work already undertaken, CELT is co-organising with the International Monetary Fund two days of exchanges between international experts on the theme of the fight against the financing of terrorism. They will be followed by the publication of a reference book.
Different themes will be addressed:
- Understanding the workings of networks financing terrorism.
- The role of the private sector in detecting and destabilising networks.
- The role of financial intelligence.
- Targeted financial sanctions.
- International cooperation.
This activity, unique in France, will be an opportunity for CELT to develop a new high-level international partnership.
The International Monetary Fund examines countries’ economic policies and economic and financial developments at the national, regional and global levels as part of its formal surveillance role to maintain stability and prevent crises in the international monetary system.
